The Applications Unlimited Sales Intern role at Oracle provides graduates with a 12-month opportunity to gain practical exposure to sales processes and application solutions across Africa and Turkey. Based in Woodmead, Johannesburg, this internship focuses on supporting lead generation activities, assisting with event follow-ups, distributing health check information, and preparing quotations once Bills of Materials (BOMs) are finalized. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams across 54 countries, gaining valuable international business exposure while developing skills in ERP, CRM, and HCM solutions. This program is designed to build strong communication, sales, and customer relationship management skills, preparing graduates for future careers in sales and business development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lead generation activities, including follow-ups for events and campaigns
• Support the sales team with the distribution of health check information to clients
• Assist in preparing and issuing quotations after BOMs are finalized
• Provide general administrative support to the Applications Unlimited Sales team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Africa and Turkey region to ensure timely execution of tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or ICT-related fields
• Desirable qualification: Honours Degree in Sales & Marketing or ICT-related fields
• Basic understanding of ERP, CRM, or HCM solutions
• Strong telephone etiquette and professional communication skills
• Fluency in English is required; Portuguese and French are advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates a learning mindset with the ability to adapt to new challenges and environments
